43pl logo 43 Pty Ltd (43pl) is the consortium of over 60 companies brought together to conduct research & development through the CRCSI. 43pl is a new way to engage with and contribute to the development of the industry.
ANZLIC – the Spatial Information Council is the lead inter-governmental body, and has set itself the challenge of accelerating the development of policies and strategies to increase the application, spread and influence of spatial information throughout Australia and New Zealand.
CRCSI logo Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (CRCSI) was formed in 2003 to give impetus to innovation and research. The CRCSI has been extended for a further eight years (to 2018) to create new wealth and benefits for the participants of the CRCSI, throughout Australia and New Zealand, through research, innovation and commercialisation; through educational activities; and through powerful collaboration that builds institutional capacity.
GITA logo Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) Australia and New Zealand Division promotes the benefits of geospatial technologies for the management of infrastructure assets and has the majority of electricity, water and gas utilities, as well as leading telecommunications and transportation corporations, throughout Australia and New Zealand as members.
PSMA logo PSMA Australia Ltd (PSMA) is jointly owned by the governments of Australia for integrating and supplying government data to end users. It has a strong track record in providing integrated spatial products and in partnering with the private sector to further the adoption of spatial information.
SIBA logo Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA) is the peak employer body representing the spatial information industry. SIBA encourages the use of spatial information and technologies in government and the wider business community; promotes the engagement of private sector companies to undertake spatial information and technology activities; and identifies emerging opportunities for the sector.
SSSI logo Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) is the premier body for all spatial professionals in Australia and New Zealand. It provides an identity for the people involved in the spatial community and effectively represents their interests to industry, academia, government, the wider professions and society, and delivers continuing professional development.
